The goal of the project was to develop and design a bed from cardboard and paper for AirBnb purposes.

Flat-pack bed offers all the necessary elements for few day stay travelers.

Modular furniture LAYer consists of a bed frame, a nightstand, a lamp, a rack and clothes hangers, a shoe pole, a waste basket and a magazine holder.

If the bedding is not being used for overnight stays the furniture parts can simply be inserted into the bed frame which enables efficient use of the space for other activities.

The name LAYer is derived from English words that embody a flat pack bedroom: to lay & layer.
